Jerry Cantrell Announces Livestream Event

Posted by Corinne Westbrook in News on November 18, 2021

The performance will be recorded at LA’s Grammy Museum and will feature songs from the legendary musician’s first solo album in nearly two decades.

As a follow up to his first solo album in nearly two decades, Brighten, legendary singer, songwriter, guitarist, and Alice In Chains co-founder Jerry Cantrell has announced “An Evening With Jerry Cantrell” an intimate stream recorded from Los Angeles that will feature new material off of his recent album with many of the musicians (Tyler Bates, Greg Puciato, Gil Sharone, George Adrian, Vincent Jones, Michael Rozon) who joined him on the record expected to be part of the performance.

The sold-out performance will be recorded at LA’s Grammy Museum tonight (11/18), and will subsequently be repurposed as a ticketed stream event by Moment House that will be available at 9PM ET / 6PM PT on Dec. 1 for North and South American Audience, Dec. 2 at 6PM JST for Asian, Australian and New Zealand audiences and Dec. 2 at 6PM GMT for U.K., European and African audiences.

There are also T-shirt and signed vinyl bundle options as well. Ticket holders can stream the event for 24 hours. Tickets are available HERE.

“Brighted” was Cantrell’s first project without Alice In Chains in 19 years and has received praise from critics including SPIN who said: ”…It’s an eclectic record fueled by a mix of acoustic and electric instruments that Cantrell used to extrapolate on themes like doubt, resiliency, and moving on from the past. Needless to say, it’s easily the most upbeat-sounding album in his lengthy discography. That’s just fine by him.”

American Songwriter said, “A masterful collection of nine new songs exhibiting all the different sides of his inimitable songwriting sensibilities—including some new ones—the album constitutes some of Cantrell’s finest output to date.”

The worldwide live stream will be Cantrell’s last show of 2021, but he has also announced a U.S. tour that will bring him to cities such as New York, LA, Chicago, Boston, Nashville and Vegas, among many other cities. Full dates below.
