After an extensive online tease via a series of Easter eggs, the band’s second serving from Requiem has arrived.
Korn made it very clear over the last week that something new was coming down and soon. The band’s website showcased a string of revolving anatomic heart icons that had a face – all of which were different colors. Each heart had a hand covering the eyes and when clicked, offered either a direct download of a song stem or steered fans to the band’s social platforms including their Youtube Channel, TikTok or Newsletter.
Now, the big reveal has arrived with the second single from the band’s forthcoming album Requiem in “Forgotten” ending the tease. Accompanied with a visualizer created by EFFIXX, who also helmed the visual effects in the video for Korn’s first Requiem single “Start The Healing,” – Korn again showcases why they remain relevant as ever decades into their legendary career.
In addition to the debut of the second single, Korn is confirmed for a run of four nights with System Of A Down. Starting on January 31st in Phoenix, AZ Korn will then travel to San Diego on February 1st and finish out the run with two sold-out shows in L.A. on February 4th and 5th at Banc Of California Stadium. The shows serve as a precursor to the band’s own headlining stretch set to begin March 4th. The tour will include supporting sets from Chevelle and Code Orange and extend for some 19 highly-anticipated arena dates.
