Limp Bizkit and Rick Ross top 20th anniversary of Bamboozle Festival

Posted by Ramon Gonzales in News on November 22, 2022

Returning for the first time in over a decade, the fest’s initial confirmation of artists spans from Steve Aoki to E. Town Concrete, Yung Gravy to Scowl, Saosin, Babytron, Tallah and many more.

It has been more than a decade since the Bamboozle Festival last reveled on the beaches of Asbury Park, NJ. The throwback festival has capitalized on the revival of emo era nostalgia by announcing back in May that the banner would be revived for a 2023 edition, marking the 20th anniversary of the multi-genre destination event.

The first wave of artists has now been announced and among the headliners, the diversity is more than apparent. Set to headline the 2023 celebration, Bamboozle will see sets from Limp Bizkit, Rick Ross, Steve Aoki and Yung Gravy. Running with the high school nostalgia theme, the bill is divided among the tiers of artists with the headliners listed as “seniors”, bands like Boys Like Girls, E-Town Concrete, Finch, Jax, Mayday Parade, Saosin, Say Anything, The Spill Canvas, Valencia, and We The Kings are ranked as “alumni”.

There is also a freshmen class on the bill with emerging artists like Babytron, Diablo, Gideon, Kaonashi, Left To Suffer, Scowl, Sueco, Tallah, Teddy Swims, and The Wrecks rounding out the bill. Even Puddles Pity party is listed as the “class clown” – a small but very cool detail tying the entire theme together.

Tickets are set to go on-sale this Friday November 25th. Organizers are also teasing that “Phase Two” will be announced in the “winter semester” which means there are many more surprises in store.
