Lorna Shore Announces New Album Pain Remains, Reveals First Single “Sun // Eater”

Posted by Corinne Westbrook in News on May 13, 2022

The Jersey outfit is pushing the boundaries of deathcore with their most ambitious single yet.

Deathcore powerhouse Lorna Shore have released the first single off of their already highly anticipated new full-length album, Pain Remains, “Sun // Eater”. The band first revealed this track live during the Chaos & Carnage Tour with Suicide Silence, Carnifex, and more.

Will Ramos (vocals) states about the song, “We’re so happy to be able to put out something different and new that further exemplifies who we’ve become as individuals and as a whole. This song/album really brings together everything that we’ve been working towards being and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you all.”

After Lorna Shore released their critically acclaimed EP …And I Return To Nothingness, all eyes have been on the band for the follow-up full-length. Pain Remains promises to be staggeringly creative and brutal. “It feels like a rebirth of everything for us – the energy, the band, the morale,” says drummer Austin Archey of the album.

Lorna Shore is currently on tour with Suicide Silence, Carnifex, Upon A Burning Body, AngelMaker and Distant on the “Chaos & Carnage Tour” before playing Lollapalooza in Chicago in July. Prior to touring Europe with Parkway Drive and While She Sleeps, they will be playing a handful of European summer festivals, as well as selected shows with As I Lay Dying and co-headline summer dates with Tesseract.
