The Bay Area vets will perform at this weekend’s Milwaukee Metal Fest.
Working with director Jon (Jern) Watson and sourcing a final edit from Mike Sloat, Bay Area metal champions Machine Head have shared a crushing new performance video for the single, “Arrøws In Wørds Frøm the Sky”. The track is featured on the band’s widely-acclaimed tenth studio album Øf Kingdøm and Crøwn which arrived last year via Nuclear Blast Records.
The compilation of footage features some of the highlights and jaw-dropping moments from the band’s last year of touring in support of the album. Sourcing clips from their European run and their domestic US tour, the combination of stage spectacle and crowd response is the stuff of metal music lore.
beloved frontman Robb Flynn shared of the release, “The last few videos have been very artistic and thematic continuing the black & white scope of the concept record. For this we just wanted to have an old school, 90’s style live video, that is more or less a tribute to our absolutely insane fans (the Head Cases) going bat shit crazy, mixed with some good ol’ life-on-the-road-getting-hammered-backstage-vibe. Enjoy!”
The video lands as the band prep for their highly-anticipated set for the return of Milwaukee Metal Fest. The band will then depart for Belgium next month for a play at Graspop, before returning home for additional summer festival dates at both Rockfest in Iowa and a play at Blue Ridge Rock Fest in Virginia later this fall.
