The succession of singles from metallic hardcore crossover outfit Malevolence have hit like a barrage with now three showings of brute strength all stemming from their highly-anticipated full length, Malicious Intent.
Delivering knockout blows every time they emerge, the album’s introduction in “On Broken Glass” was an all out clobbering – a feverish frenzy in song that is destined to become a instant favorite for the fans in the pit.

Now, the Sheffield unit have unleashed a third, equally effective swing of the axe with the release their most recent assault in “Still Waters Run Deep”. An anthemic tribute to the brotherhood and familial bond at the root of the band, the track is a testament to the kind of conviction that fuels the intensity that has become Malevolence’s signature.
Frontman Alex Taylor further explained of the preview, “This video is a deep dive into the history of Malevolence. We dug through hours of old archive footage and picked out some highlights from over the years as the song is a tribute to the journey we have set upon together, and the bond it has formed between us.”
