Among two of the biggest names in active rock, Papa Roach has teamed with Falling In Reverse for an epic summer co-headliner appropriately titled, the Rockzilla Summer Tour. The run is set to begin July 27th in Rhode Island and stretch through August, wrapping on the 31st in Nashville, TN.
The run of amphitheater shows will touch down in 24 key markets and will see Papa Roach again team with prior tourmates in Hollywood Undead and Bad Wolves. The band’s previous Kill The Noise domestic run saw the trio of bands perform in front of capacity crowd across the country for a run of shows throughout March that set the bar for the summer to come.
“We’re thrilled to bring an absolutely packed lineup — an evening of non-stop rock, to some amazing cities this summer,” enthused Papa Roach’s Jacoby Shaddix. “We haven’t been to some of these cities in a long time…Only right that we celebrate with these amazing bands, who all are bringing heat of their own!”
Echoing that excitement, Ronnie Radke of Falling In Reverse shares how this tour has been long in the making. “We are very glad to bring out such a phenomenal lineup. Fans have asked for years for a FIR/Papa Roach tour, and now the time has finally come. Not to mention Hollywood Undead and Bad Wolves are also on the bill. This will be a tour to remember.”
Falling In Reverse kicked off their 2022 with the unveiling of their active rock radio smash, “Zombified“. The launch of the track scored huge with fans, quickly climbing to the top of the category and serving as a precursor of the band’s Live From the Unknown Tour that saw several sold out shows with Wage War, Hawthorne Heights and Jeris Johnson. The band is set to drop their Neon Zombie EP sometime this year.
As for Papa Roach, the band is riding high on the success of their most recent full length Ego Trip. The band’s 11th studio effort fruited a succession of smash singles including “Stand Up,” “Cut The Line,” the Jason Aalon Butler-assisted “Swerve” and the anthem in “Kill the Noise”. More than two decades removed from the sensation of the band’s iconic album Infest, Papa Roach continues to be a driving force in the realm of modern rock music.
