The five intimate shows will feature a impressive roster of genre mainstays including TSOL, H20, Adolescents, Pulley, Good Riddance, Authority Zero, Strung Out, Voodoo Glow Skulls and more.
Enduring South Bay punk outfit Pennywise has announced a run of five especially intimate Southern California shows that will feature the band playing their first five albums in full – one album per night.
Descending on Orange County’s Garden Amp in Garden Grove, CA, Pennywise will perform five nights – March 4th, 5th, 11th, 12th, and 13th – and devote the focus of each night on an individual, complete album set. The punk rock history lesson will also be coupled with an impressive assembly of supporting guests – ranging from regional heroes to genre mainstays all in celebration of one of punk’s most prolific units.
Founding Pennywise guitarist Fletcherr Dragge says, “We’ve had a great time playing album shows in the past, so why not do the first 5 PW albums back-to-back in a venue that feels like a backyard party? This might kill us but at least we’ll die trying….”
Friday March 4th Pennywise will perform their 1991 Self-Titled debut along with special guest sets from T.S.O.L., Cigar, Slaugherhouse.
Saturday March 5th the band will take on their 1993 LP, Unknown Road. Joining the night’s festivities will be H20, Sprung Monkey, theLINE.
Friday March 11th will see the complete performance of the 1995 LP, About Time. Adding to the spectacle of the bill will be support from Orange County veterans Adolescents, along with Pulley and Dissension.
Saturday March 12th Pennywise will take in their seminal fourth album, Full Circle. The show performance will include supporting sets from Good Riddance, Authority Zero, and Chaser.
Sunday March 13th Pennywise will close out their succession of intimate shows with a complete performance of the 1999 classic, Straight Ahead. The final show of the run will include supporting sets from Strung Out, Voodoo Glow Skulls, and Urethane.
