Album number eight, In Times New Roman… lands in just a couple of weeks.
Following the band’s recent triumph at Sonic Temple, their first show since 2020, the band have previewed their pending eighth fell length studio album with the reveal of the sultry, sinister swag heavy single, “Carnavoyeur”. Earlier this month, the band introduced their latest chapter with the raucous, rock forward lead “Emotion Sickness”, officially introducing the album, In Times New Roman…
The relatively short rollout means that fans will be able to get their hands on the release next month with In Times New Roman… landing June 16h via Matador Records. Coupled with the launch of the album, the band is hosting a series of release parties dubbed, the MIDNIGHT CLUB.
The day prior to the release of In Times New Roman… Queens of the Stone age will host listening parties at record stores and bars across some 23 countries. The MIDNIGHT CLUB starts at 11pm June 15th and will feature giveaways including exclusive merch, limited edition colored vinyl, and for a lucky select few locations, signed merchandise and ticket giveaways.
In support of the album QOTSA will be out making the rounds for European festival season. The band was recently added to the Glastonbury line-up and will make additional appearances at Rosklide Festival in Denmark, Pinkpop Festival in the Netherlands and Mad Cool Festival in Spain among others. Domestically, the band has confirmed sets at Riot Fest, Louder Than Life and Aftershock before rounding out the year. A full list of dates can be found – HERE
