The October joint effort with Loma Vista Recordings will bring to life the narrative of the band’s ninth album with contributions from artists Sally Cantirino, Val Halvorson, Huseyin Ozkan, Soo Lee and more.
Continuing to bridge the worlds of audio counter culture and comic book fervor, Z2 Comics are adding ti their catalog of collaborative projects that most recently include joint efforts with King Diamond, Beartooth, and Alter Bridge to name just a few, with the addition of the ‘Nowhere Generation’ graphic novel with punk purveyors, Rise Against.
Enlisting the artistic talents of venerated writer Shaun Simon (True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys, Electric Century) and accomplished artists Sally Cantirino, Val Halvorson, Huseyin Ozkan, and Soo Lee, the graphic novel brings to the page the narrative at the core of the band’s recently released ninth full length album of the same name.
The official description reads, “Nowhere Generation: Presented by Rise Against is more than just a tale of rebellion fuelled by the band’s passionate politics and artistic inspiration. This is a glimpse into the lives of the abandoned, a collection of down and out individuals coming together for a revolution; these are the stories of the ones who fight back.”
