The tour kicks of at the end of July and runs through August in celebration of the band’s ninth full length record.
Chicago punk stalwarts Rise Against have announced plans to celebrate the release of their ninth full length album, ‘Nowhere Generation’ with a run of summer shows in the ‘Nowhere Generation Tour’. The trek is set to begin at the end of July in New York and wrap in Utah late August.
The band’s album is due out June 4th via Loma Vista Recordings and already the title track has underscored the appetite fans have for new Rise Against, tallying more than 4 million global streams since its debut. The arrival of ‘Nowhere Generation’ showcases the first collection of new material from the band in four years.
“A year without live music in a time when we needed it most has been trying for all of us,” said Rise Against frontman Tim McIlrath. “Live music has been missing from all of our lives for far too long. We can’t wait to fix that on the ‘Nowhere Generation Tour.’ It’s been a long year, and we have a lot to say about it…”
Tickets for Rise Against’s ‘Nowhere Generation Tour’ go on-sale Thursday May 13th at 10AM PT. Fans can access the tickets via Riseagainst.com.
