The festival is also launching their Metal 2 The Masses campaign giving unsigned talent the chance to earn a spot of the Bloodstock stage.

Following a historic 2022 edition of the annual gathering at Catton Park, Bloodstock has announced another group of artists slated for the 2023 edition of the mega metal fest. Among the anchors already in place include highly-billed sets from the likes of Megadeth, Killswitch Engage, Anthrax, In Flames, Devildriver, Knocked Loose, Decapitated, Whitechapel, and Sepultura among many others.

As the fest builds steam en route to the August 10th-13th gathering, another round of confirmations has hit the wire with 12 more artists added to the ever-growing assembly of aggression set for the summer. Among the bands topping the most recent additions include thrash stalwarts Sacred Reich. Releasing their first album in more than two decades last year, the band’s UK showing will mark an important milestone. German outfit Heaven Shall Burn have also been confirmed.

Sludge practitioners Crowbar will unleash their brand of heavy on Bloodstock next summer. Also joining the festivities is London’s highly-touted metallica trio in URNE whose 2021 full length Serpent & Spirit was among the standout showings in heavy music last year.

Also confirmed for Bloodstock are nu-metal unit Seeking Akira, metal mystics All Hail the Yeti, and Mongolian sensation UUHAI. Dead Label, Brothers of Metal, Gutalax, Cobra the Impaler, and Invisions are also firmed up for the fest.

Additionally, Bloodstock is reactivating their Metal 2 the Masses campaign which gives unsigned hype the chance to earn a place at the table and take to the festival stage. One deserving winner will score a slot on the New Blood Stage next August. A full list of participating venues and regions both domestic and international, can be found – HERE
