Show Me the Body stoke the flames with “We Came to Play”

Posted by Ramon Gonzales in News on September 14, 2022

The potent single introduces the band’s third full length album, ‘Trouble The Water’ due October 28th via Loma Vista Recordings

Asserting their range and universal appeal among all sects of the heavy music community, Show Me the Body had stellar showings this summer at both hardcore-driven Sound and Fury Festival as well as the metal wonderland of Psycho Las Vegas. With the band’s unhinged live performance and onstage intensity serving as the common denominator, the NYC natives have obliterated genre divides and become one of aggressive music’s most engaging, emerging artists.

Enlisting the expertise of venerated produced Arthur Rizk, Show Me the Body have introduced their third full length studio effort with Trouble the Water due out October 28th via Loma Vista Recordings. Paired with the first preview of the project in “Loose Talk”, Show Me the Body have delivered a second showing with the single, “We Came to Play”.

Wholly influenced by their home of New York, the album serves well in referencing and offering reverence to the style and sound of the band’s city. An ode to the subcultures that structure the foundation of the city’s style and spirit, Show Me the Body flout genre and confront confines of conventional hardcore to in putting on for their home of NYC.

The news of the pending album is paired with a loaded touring itinerary that will see Show Me the Body push a relentless pace on the road. With confirmed appearances set for Desert Daze and Nothing Fest IV in California this October, Show Me The Body will then make their way through Europe for a 15-date stretch support from Powerplant. The band will then continue on to Australia for four highly-anticipated dates in December taking on Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth to punctuate what has been a formative year.
