Watch the trailer for the streaming event set for February 6th.
As the CA purveyors of DIY ethos among metalcore community, Silent Planet has spent more than a decade earning their cult following and evolving as important contributors in the genre.
The story of their 2020 is now sadly a familiar one, with international touring plans scraped due to the pandemic. Early in the year, the band released a powerful single in the track, “Trilogy,” a highly personal statement from vocalist and band’s architect, Garrett Russell.
Combining an evident sense of conviction with incendiary instrumentation, the stand alone single generated a swell of momentum that was to carry the band well into their UK/European trek in support of Fit For A King.
As the familiar story goes – the world had other plans.
Kicking off the new year, Silent Planet has “poured themselves” into a streaming event dubbed, ‘Terminal: A Virtual Concert Experience’ that is set to broadcast on February 6th. Coupled with the announcement and a compelling trailer for the event, the band have also included limited VIP options and exclusive incentives for ticket purchasers that make the event a no-brainer.
The band issued the following,
Our virtual concert will be live on Feb 6th. For now, tickets for the stream, and new merch & bundles are available at silentplanetband.com
“We also have a VIP (90 max) which will include our Retrospective book, TNGS (Redux) CD and a virtual Q&A. As you can see in this trailer, we did some stuff that has never been possible before, and we can’t wait for you to see it. ALSO: Next week all ticket purchasers will receive a secret gift in their email – something no one has heard before – but I’ll keep you guessing as to what that may or may not be.
Please note that the stream will be available for REPLAY for 24 HOURS just in case the initial premiere time is not ideal for you Love you all! We are so excited to finally be sharing this with you. We poured ourselves into this and we believe the experience will reflect that. Have a fantastic weekend and be consumed xx”
