So What?! Music Festival adds Hawthorne Heights, Kublai Khan TX, Big K.R.I.T., Wage War and more to complete the massive three-day event

Spanning hardcore, metalcore and hip hop the Memorial Day Weekend excursion takes over Choctaw Stadium in Arlington, TX.

The scope of the 14th edition of the So What?! Music Festival is nothing short of incredible. The three-day Arlington, TX takeover includes some 150 artists across three main stages daily, along with three supporting stages of comprised of a healthy variation of genres.

To better showcase the broad spectrum packaged into the festival experience, the initial wave of artists anchoring the attention of the bill included the likes of I Prevail, Parkway Drive, The Ghost Inside, Blackbear, Simple Plan, Sum 41, 2 Chainz, Rae Sremmurd, Trippie Redd, Tyga, Knocked Loose, The Maine, Princess Nokia, and 3OH!3 to name a few.

The most recent announcement finalizes the Memorial Day gathering and adds the likes of Wage War, Lil Skies, Mod Sun, Pouya, State Champs,Hail The Sun, Rebecca Black, Kublai Khan TX, Hawthorne Heights, Big K.R.I.T., Oxymorrons and many more to the three-day bill. Moreso, So What?! has already hinted that fans can expect additional special guests to be announced in the lead up to the summer kick off.

This year’s So What?! line up is us basically saying, who cares about a genre!” explained festival founder Mike Ziemer. “Everything is blending together more and more. There are so many hip-hop artists collaborating with rock artists. Travis Barker is working with like every type of artist. This festival brings together all the hype and energy of what’s current and what’s exciting to the fan that misses Warped Tour but also attends Rolling Loud.”

Among the major talking points of the festival thus far include I Set My Friends On Fire performing their celebrated 2008 effort, Can’t Spell Slaughter Without Laughter, as well as appearances from $not, The Black Dahlia Murder, Waka Flocka Flame, and the original lineup of A Skylit Drive performing the EP She Watched The Sky for the first time in the band’s history.
