The marriage of heavy music and art returns to Columbus, OH this May featuring four days of metal, hardcore, punk and beyond.

Reviving the Sonic Temple banner after three years away, live music pioneer Danny Wimmer Presents has announced the reactivation with a historic four-day bill set for Columbus, OH on May 25th through the 28th.

The Memorial Day Weekend celebration will feature a dynamic roster of artists topped by performances from Tool and Godsmack on day one, Avenged Sevenfold and Queens of the Stone Age on day two, KISS and Rob Zombie on day three and closing out with Foo FIghters and Deftones.

Enlisting metal music cultural ambassador Jose Mangin to serve as the gathering’s host, Sonic Temple Music & Arts Festival will also showcase elements designed throughout the event by counter culture champion, Shepard Fairey.

Among the additional names rounding out the four-day extravaganza include sets from hometown heroes Beartooth, Bullet For My Valentine, H09909, Malevolence, Knocked Loose, I Prevail, Converge, Vended, Trivium, Black Veil Brides, Poorstacy, Bob Vylan, The Bronx and so many more. Touting a bill that is as diverse as it is stacked, the return of Sonic Temple ensures longevity for the brand coming right out of the gate.

“We’ve always enjoyed playing Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus and are excited to be a part of this year’s Sonic Temple,” says M. Shadows of Avenged Sevenfold. “It’ll be a blast to share the stage with Tool, Foo Fighters and others, we can’t wait to see and play for all of our amazing fans again.”

There is so much history at Historic Crew Stadium, it truly is the heartbeat of rock for many of us…the excitement surrounding the return of Sonic Temple is unparalleled!”
