The band has updated their social media accounts with new images and are getting cryptic with a ‘Coming Soon” tease
There is activity in the Mars Volta universe.
Not only has the band recently updated the images on their social media platform but the label responsible for releasing Omar Rodríguez-López’s 2020 triple LP in The Clouds Hill Tapes, has also hit fans with a cryptic tease of something “coming soon” from the band entitled, “La Realidad de los Sueños”.
The Mars Volta has split in 2013 after creative friction surfaced between the band’s driving unit of Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Omar Rodríguez-López. Just last year, the band made their ‘Tremulant’ EP available on direct streaming services for the firs time ever.
Though the tandem has publicly been receptive to the idea of reuniting, this seems to be a very real step in that direction.
