The seven track collection arrives December 16th and is introduced by the heater, “My Swisher Sweet, but My Sig Sauer”
It has been five long years since $uicideboy$ have revisited the success of their joint venture with Atlanta-based wordsmith and fellow G59 Records lablemate GERM. Back in 2016, the union began with the first EP in what would begin a years-spanning trilogy, with the introduction of DIRTYNASTY$UICIDE, followed just one year later by the second EP in the series, DIRTIERNA$TIER$UICIDE.
Since then, $UICIDEBOY$ have gone from cult champions to industry renegades, surpassing expectation and defying limitations as one of the music’s most undeniable success stories. The duo’s most recent Sing Me a Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top Rap Albums chart, #2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and #7 on the all-genre Billboard 200. The album was streamed over 100 million times in the first week of release and earned $B their first #1 on the Rap Albums chart, highest charting debut on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and tied previous album 2021’s Long Term Effects of Suffering chart debut on the Billboard 200.
For context as to just how much of a juggernaut $UICIDEBOY$ have become, in just 2022 alone the tandem of $CRIM and Ruby da Cherry have racked up some 2.1 billion, with a B, billion streams. That number has propelled the team to become the 27th most streamed artist across all genres making $UICIDEBOY$ not just rap stars, but a cultural phenomenon.
Now, the duo have shown the inability to remain idle, announcing a new project just months removed from the onslaught of Sing Me a Lullaby, My Sweet Temptation. Reviving the EP series with GERM, $UICIDEBOY$ have introduced DIRTIESTNASTIEST$UICIDE, the completion of the trifecta’s EP saga that began back in 2016. The seven song collection sees $UICIDEBOY$ own $crim taking the production lead, with the project landing December 16th via G59 Records.
The first single from the EP is a headknocker with “My Swisher Sweet, but My Sig Sauer” delivering clever wordplay, swift turn of phrase and a beat that underscores $crim’s skilled versatility – flexing on the mic and behind the board.
