Following successful appearances at Knotfest Iowa, LA, their first headlining tour, the Des Moines prospects come home to mark the release of their debut, What Is It / Kill It.
Capping off what has been a breakout year, heavy music prospects Vended have released details of their hometown EP release show celebrating the arrival of their debut effort, What Is It / Kill It.
The band took to their socials to share the following, “Excited to announce the best way to come home after this tour with a hometown show celebrating the release of “What Is It // Kill It” with our boys in Tallah // Widow7 // Dose on 12/9. Come out and throw down with us!”
The tour the band references in the statement is their current headlining run – the band’s first ever, along with Hazing Over and Omerta. The November trek coincides with the recent release of the band’s highly-anticipated EP and harnesses the momentum of a year that saw the upstarts make lasting impressions on both the Knotfest Iowa and Knotfest Los Angeles stages.
The rollout for the introductory EP saw the successful launch of two fiery singles from the band in “Asylum” and “Burn My Misery” – a tandem of tracks that became a highlights of the band’s combustible live shows.
Bookending their meteoric 2021, Vended will arrive home in Des Moines for an EP release show that is part victory lap, part indicator of what’s to come in 2022. The band has tapped nu-metal revivalists Tallah, Knotfest Iowa alum Widow7 and DOSE for December 9th festivities.
Tickets for Vended’s What Is It / Kill It EP release show go on-sale Friday at 10am local time.
