Vended confirm ‘What Is It/Kill It’ EP with their second single, “Burn My Misery”

Posted by Ramon Gonzales in News on October 19, 2021

The debut release arrives as the band gear up for their upcoming tour with Hazing Over and Omerta in November.

Quickly ascending antagonists Vended have set November 12th as the official arrival date of their newly announced, highly anticipated EP, What Is It/Kill It. To further add to the groundswell of momentum the band continues to build, a second single from the release has been revealed with the powerfully potent “Burn My Misery” christening news of the EP.

Following the success of the band’s introductory single in “Asylum,” the Des Monies outfit would emerge as one of the standout early sets of the historic Knotfest Iowa event that saw some 30,000-plus fans in attendance. In less than a month since the track’s reveal, “Asylum” has gone onto rack up more than a million streams – no small feat for a band that made it’s live debut in March of 2020.

Driven by the percussive pummel of drummer Simon Crahan and the menacing vocal presence of Griffin Taylor, Vended’s signature is an amalgam of styles that defies category and communicates aggression on an especially authentic level. Much like the band’s live translation via Knotfest Iowa, there is a continuity of violence that anchors Vended wit “Burn My Misery” only underscoring that fact.

The news of the band’s debut EP is coupled with their upcoming 13-date trek set for the entire month of November. Commencing in Nashville, TN and wrapping in Buffalo, NY, the caravan will include supporting sets from the likes of Hazing Over and Omerta. The band’s headlining run follows their highly-touted confirmation as the opener for Knotfest Los Angeles, slated for November 5th at Banc of California Stadium.
