2020 has been already been a transformative year for VOLUMES. Just a few months ago, the band announced that Michael Barr had resumed his duties are frontman for the band after a five year layoff. Volumes released “holywater” as the first song with the newly christened line-up and fans went ballistic.
Adding to that momentum, the band just dropped a new visual for the next track from their anticipated 2020 Fearless Records release. Filmed while adhering to the social distancing regulations in Los Angeles, “Pixelate” is the band’s commentary on the negative effects of living life online. The band explains,
“The song is about consuming and ingesting too much social media and news,” the band explains. “It’s about the negative influence that these platforms, applications, and publications have on us today.”
