The very NSFW music video translates to “I Hate Children” and features stylized violence aplenty.
Quick preface here – there is zero violence towards kids depicted in this visual.
Having said that, the latest music video from Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann have arrived after a brief online tease. The track “Ich hasse Kinder” which translates to “I Hate Children” showcases the provocative prowess of one of the genre’s most enigmatic frontmen.
Complete with commanding vocals and massive, locomotive-like guitars, the cadence of the song is as massive as it is menacing. Tapping the directorial talents of Serghey Grey, the accompanying music video is a NSFW effort that includes quick but apparent cuts that boast car explosions, a hanging, bludgeoning, and yeah, even some dismemberment.
The latest from Lindemann arrives as Rammstein continue to put the finishing touches on a full length album that resulted from their time away from the road. In a recent feature with Motor.De, The band’s Christian “Flake” Lorenz shared that the postponed tours and forced period of refocus spurned a flood of ideas from the collective. “The fact that we couldn’t perform live increased our creativity. We had more time to think of new things and less distraction.” The keyboardist confirmed the obvious. “As a result, we recorded a record that we hadn’t planned on.”
In addition, Rammstein have recently announced the rescheduled dates of their North American Stadium Tour set for 2022. The run was initially schedule for 2020 and has since been forced to reschedule – though this time looks as though it will stick.
