ADA parking is located at 2201 George Flagg Pkwy at the Administration Building
$10 per vehicle and you must have a current placard or plate
You may enter the parking areas from any of the following routes :
· Entrance 1 – George Flagg Pkwy from Fluer Drive (not recommended – heaviest traffic)
· Entrance 2 - George Flagg Pkwy from 30th St
· Entrance 3 - George Flagg Pkwy from Park Ave (recommended quickest route)
Parking lots will open at 8:00 am, so please consider coming early!

Located just off of George Flagg Pkwy from Fluer in the gravel area in front of the Water Works Administration Building without entering the parking lot
Peak Traffic Times
Please be patient and allow for some time to arrive and exit during peak traffic times: between 1pm to 6pm and after the performance.
*Pro Tip:
Avoid some traffic by using Entrance 3 George Flagg Pkwy from the West Side
From I-235 take the 63rd St exit all the way to Park Ave and then to George Flagg Pkwy
This will be the quickest / closest way to avoid lines
WATER
Water Works Park is proud to have abundant access to free water at the Festival.
Fans can receive access to free water at multiple refill stations throughout the venue.
Patrons may bring:
1 sealed bottle of water per person
(up to 1 liter in volume; must be in a factory-sealed, disposable/crushable water bottle.
No metal, glass, or hard plastic)
1 hydration pack per person
(must be emptied of all liquid and with no more than two total pockets.
One for the reservoir and one additional pocket)

The Slipknot Museum is an immersive exhibit from throughout Slipknot storied history complete with instruments, memorabilia, wardrobe and personal never seen before items.

What is the maximum amount of tickets I can purchase?
Maximum number of tickets that can be purchased at any one time is 8.
What will be at Knotfest Iowa?
13 bands, two stages, the Slipknot Museum, food trucks, Slipknot Whiskey and more than 20,000 maggots.
Can Knotfest sell out?
Yes, it can, and it will. Get your tickets now as we will not be selling tickets at the door.
Are there ADA accessibility accommodations?
Yes, there will be a dedicated section set up for guests who require ADA accommodations

There is Parking on site at Water Works Park
If I leave, can I get back in?
NO RE-ENTRY ALLOWED— Once you’re in, you’re in!
Is there an age limit?
Nope. Knotfest Iowa is an all-ages event. Everyone who goes to the festival will need a ticket, no matter their age.
What’s allowed/not allowed? What should I bring?
- BAG POLICY:
- CLEAR bags made up of clear plastic, vinyl, or pvc, and no larger than 12" x 6" x 12" are allowed.
- Small clutch purses or fanny packs that are 6” x 9” or smaller do not need to be clear, but can have no more than one pocket.
- All bags will be searched before entry.
- (The crossbody bag included in the Knotfest Essentials kit and VIP Packages is approved!)
- Hydration packs are allowed and do not need to be clear, but must be emptied of all liquid and with no more than two total pockets. One for the reservoir and one additional pocket.
- 1 bottle of water per person up to 1 liter in volume; must be in a factory-sealed, disposable/crushable water bottle. Hard plastic, metal, and glass water bottles will not be allowed.
- Non-professional cameras, i.e., “point and shoot” or disposable cameras
- Cash
- Blankets are allowed, but not encouraged — with the crowd expected there may not be enough “safe” room to sit in the crowd

Violations are cause for confiscation of prohibited items or expulsion from the event

Will there be food or drink available at Knotfest Iowa?
There will be plenty of food concessions on the festival grounds with a variety of foods. Free water will be provided both inside as well as outside the venue. Soda, water, and alcohol will be available to purchase.
Will there be a place to nurse at Knotfest Iowa?
Yes, we will have a place for mothers to nurse and pump.
Can I vape at the show?
Vaping is allowed.
What happens if it rains?
The show will go on rain or shine. The only way the outdoor component may be delayed/cancelled is in the event of severe weather. (See high winds and or lightning)
