The team first collaborated on “All Due Respect” on RTJ2
The collaborations continue for Travis Barker.
Among the recent projects include a joint effort with Machine Gun Kelly for a cover of Rage Against the Machine’s “Killing In the Name.”
Travis also connected with Post Malone for the universally-praised livestream of the team’s Nirvana tribute set for charity. Barker then linked with genre-bending provocateurs H09909 for a set during the Black Power Live streaming showcase which raised funds and awareness for the Black Lives Matter Movement. The set included a raucous rendition of the Bad Brains’ classic, “Big Takeover.”
Today, Barker dropped a collaboration with Run The Jewels in the standalone single, “Forever.” Hot on the the heels of one of the most record releases of 2020, Killer Mike and El-P reiterated their potency with RTJ4 and double down on the latest effort with Barker.
The track revisits the creative chemistry as the trio first linked up for the 2014 track, “All Due Respect” from RTJ2. “Forever” also adds another cut to Barker’s DTA Records imprint.
