Check Out the Trailer for Upcoming Cannibal Horror Movie ‘Feed Me’

The creators of 2020’s ‘Hosts’ are back with a new terrifying, stylistic tale.

There are just never enough horror movies that deal with cannibalism, if you ask me. Thankfully, a new original horror flick going by the excellent name of Feed Me is coming as early as next month to help remedy that. The film comes from Adam Leader and Richard Oakes, who you may know as the duo responsible for 2020’s shocking Christmas story Hosts. Those familiar with that film, which boasts one of the most legitimately upsetting and jaw-dropping horror moments in recent memory, are likely eager to see what the two filmmakers have in store this time around.

“’Feed Me’ is very much a film unto its own.” Leader and Oakes shared in a joint statement. “As a product of our combined personalities as a filmmaker duo, it’s an example of what we feel we do best – layering bizarre, batshit-crazy horror with a generous dusting of comedy on a dramatic story of grief, heartache and self-loathing. From the moment of its inception, we wanted to tell the story without holding back due to the worry of what others might think. Its running themes and distinguished nature somewhat personally echo aspects of our own style as a filmmaking duo. We’re so excited to unleash ‘Feed Me’ upon the world and showcase a style of cinema that we can’t wait to carry on producing for many years to come!”

The film follows a man named Jed (Christopher Mulvin) whose life is shattered when his wife (Samantha Loxley) suddenly dies and Jed feels directly responsible. Spiraling into an abyss of depression, he finds himself in a bar with deranged cannibal, Lionel Flack (Neal Ward, in a truly star-making performance) who convinces him he can redeem himself through the glorious act of allowing himself to be slowly eaten to death.

Feed Me is set to premiere at this Beyond Fest in Los Angeles before going on to a full digital release on October 27th, just a few short days before Halloween. Y’all are truly not ready for this one. Check out the trailer below.
