Tallah continues their compelling campaign to ‘Make Metal Disturbing Again’ with their latest visual.
Mounting a case for what will certainly be in discussion for one of the best metal releases of the year, Tallah continue their assault with the latest video for the track, “No One Should Read This.”
The video follows the adrenaline-charged performance of the band’s debut in Matriphagy, that was filmed live by revered hardcore documentarian, Hate5six and was streamed via Knotfest.
Billed as Nu-Core, Tallah combines various elements of aggressive music and present artistically dynamic arrangements that are potent, powerful, and precise. “No One Should Read This” is the skilled meld of nu-metal and hardcore that positions Tallah as one of the most unique outfits in the genre.
Tallah’s drummer Max Portnoy offered the following of the release. “‘No One Should Read’ This is probably my favorite track off the album. It’s one of the heaviest and most relentless Tallah songs, and I wanted to captivate that same energy visually with this video. The imagery is very dark, creepy, and chaotic and was a ton of fun to put together and shoot DIY style. The end result is one of my favourite videos I’ve put together”.
The band’s conceptually complex debut Matriphagy continues to assert it’s rank among the US and UK charts, positioning #21 Rock & Metal Albums, #36 Independent Albums, #9 Independent Album Breakers in the UK. Inn the US, the band has a foothold with #14 on Hard Music, #15 Top New Artist albums, and #39 current rock albums spots.
In terms of streams, Tallah has already tallied over a million streams in their campaign to ‘Make Metal Disturbing Again’
