The band has also announced a collaboration sake with Tatenokawa that arrives on the same day as their 10th studio album, ‘Medicine At Midnight’
While the pandemic has sidelined almost all of the 25th anniversary festivities that the Foos had lined up to mark their silver anniversary, the band continues to charge ahead with the rollout for their tenth studio album, Medicine At Midnight.
The recent run of singles with the Saturday Night Live premiere of “Shame Shame” and the riff-heavy, “No Son of Mine” have only stoked the fire, but there is some added fan-fare that comes packaged with the new tunes.
The band has teamed up with skate authority Vans to release a special edition collaborative Sk-8 Hi. The timeless design marries the legacy of both Vans and Foo Fighters with a shoe that is both stylish and subtle. Emblazoned with the signature “FF” logo and the band’s name on the back, the black canvas on black suede upper makes for a sneaker that will never look dated.
In addition to the news of the band’s Vans collaboration, Foo Fighters have also announced a limited release of their own sake with Tatenokawa. The “Hansho (Midnight)” will be available in both the blue and silver variety – among the Foos favorite flavors of the drink.
The sake arrives on the same day as Medicine At Midnight, February 5th.
