AUSSIE HARDCORE STANDOUTS SPEED SHARE NEW DOCUMENTARY; CONFIRM NORTH AMERICAN RETURN

The second installment in the docu-series revisits the band’s first, sold-out North American tour earlier this year.

Earlier this year, Australian hardcore phenomenon Speed released an insightful recap of their first ever tour dates in Southeast Asia. The compiled footage was purposed into the first in a series of concise docu-series style entries, of which revisited the band’s triumphant shows in locations like Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.

Again teaming with frequent collaborator Jack Rudder, Speed have now shared the second installment of their candid docuseries, framing America’s domestic hardcore landscape the impact the Aussies have effected on their inaugural sold out North American tour.

The footage features the band’s memorable New York debut in what has since become a watershed moment for the band in Flatspot World in Brooklyn. The camera documents additional tour stops before culminating with a furious finale in Toronto, Canada.

Speed vocalist Jem shared of the latest visual. “As Australian HC kids, we have spent half our lives worshipping what America has to offer.  So to finally perform on American soil and be celebrated in this way… there’s no words to describe that feeling!”

Combining b-roll that features the band experiencing life on the road, in addition to live footage of the band’s energized live sets, the documentary sources testimony from the likes of Outburst, Drain, Raw Brigade, End It, Never Ending Game, and Flatspot Records’ owners Che Figueroa and Ricky Singh to further attest to the kind of sea change Speed has brought to contemporary hardcore.

The arrival of the latest installment in the docuseries precedes Speed’s newest North American run set to begin later this month. Speed once again take on North America starting July 30th with a stretch of headlining dates bookended by two highly anticipated festival appearances.

The tour begins with a second consecutive appearance at Sound and Fury in Los Angeles, CA. Speed will then take on additional headlining dates in California, Texas, and Arizona for the first time, before traveling to Philadelphia, PA for a set at This Is Hardcore with Bane, End It, Magnitude and more on August 6th.
