The meteoric resurgence of Creed seems to have no bounds. Following the band's 2023 reunion, their run has been unprecedented. At the helm of the wildly successful Summer of '99 cruise that has been met with wild demand, in addition to the band's comprehensive 60-date stretch last year that broke records, the band has notched another impressive W.
Teaming with Meyer Shank Racing and Sirius XM, Creed is set to make their Indy 500 debut later this month as their first-ever IndyCar hits the track for the 109th running the iconic race.
The No. 60 SiriusXM Honda is being driven by Felix Rosenqvist and will feature the look and feel of the hard rock programming of SiriusXM’s Chennel 41, Turbo. As for the branding on the car, Creed will make their Indianapolis 500 debut on Rosenqvist’s car, tallying another epic first in the history of the band.
“It’s awesome to have CREED join us for the biggest race of the year,” said Mike Shank, co-owner of Meyer Shank Racing.“SiriusXM has been such a great partner in helping us bring new energy and personality into the sport through music, and to bring a band like CREED to the Indy 500 is something that we’re really looking forward to.”
“We are excited to attend our first Indy 500 this Memorial Day weekend,” shared CREED. “Seeing this incredible car in person will be a highlight for us. Can’t wait to be there with all the fans to cheer on Felix and the entire Meyer Shank Racing Team.”
The 109th Indianapolis 500 is set for May 25th. Live race coverage will be shown on FOX starting at noon ET, as broadcast on SiriusXM IndyCar Nation, channel 218.
