Throughout 2021, seminal West Coast hip hop record label Death Row has launched a myriad of initiatives to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the collective.
Earlier this year, Death Row Records launched it's very first ever online store along with a limited run of anniversary inspired merchandise. In addition to the launch, the label unveiled a series of NFTs with the Nobody Does It Better Nate Dogg NFT introducing the drop.
Along with the online store and NFT series, Death Row launched an interactive museum and digital fan experience. Not only could fans explore the lore of the gangsta rap trailblazers and uncover Easter eggs from releases like All Eyez on Me by 2Pac, The Chronic by Dr. Dre, Doggystyle by Snoop Dogg, Dogg Food by Tha Dogg Pound and the Above the Rim film soundtrack, but fans could also upload their memories and photos to create a comprehensive collection of fan-driven content celebrating the legacy of Death Row.
Punctuating the 30th anniversary festivities, Death Row Records has teamed with Beer Tape and LA's own Boomtown Brewery to launch the label's own collaborative craft beer. Fully embracing all that is the West Coast, the can is emblazoned with the label's iconic electric chair imagery - the perfect vessel for a bold West Coast IPA that drinks easy and hit hard.
Death Row Records' 30th Anniversary IPA is a full-bodied 7% West Coast IPA with notes of citrus, pine and grapefruit. The honey sweetness of the malt blends perfectly with the resinous hops.
The can also features a QR code tat gives fans access an exclusive 30-minute mix of Death Row Records' essentials by West Coast Legend DJ & producer Chris "The Glove" Taylor.
Boomtown Brewery, Beer Tape and Death Row Records are hosting an official release of the collaboration beer October 30th from 3pm to Midnight. Access to the event is by RSVP online. For complete details and information, visit the event page - HERE
