The Memphis rock band recounts the era at the turn of the century and how their debut album withstood the test of time and to become a rock music staple.

Memphis hard rock outfit Saliva has continued the rollout for the 20th anniversary of their breakthrough LP in 'Every Six Seconds'. The album which featured enduring singles like "Your Disease" and the anthemic "Click Click Boom" has become part of the soundtrack synonymous with the turn of the century and some 20 years later continues to be a recognizable rock requisite.

To mark the two decade milestone of the release of the double platinum, Grammy-nominated 'Every Six Seconds,' the current line up of Saliva featuring vocalist Bobby Amaru went back and re-recorded select tracks from the album to offer a fresh take on the band's classic catalog and reconnect with the energy of the era. Tapping into the magic made with then producer Bob Marlette, the EP of re-recorded essentials was coined 'Every Twenty Years'. Introducing the project was a 2021 version of the band's ageless pair of anthems in "Your Disease" and modernized version of "Click Click Boom," a song that to this day remains a rock music favorite.

Capturing the significance of the album, along with the adjustment period of transitioning from an emerging prospect to bonafide rockstars, Saliva has unveiled a mini-documentary in 'Every Six Seconds: Twenty Years Later' that better details the band's meteoric rise and their cemented rank in the lexicon of rock.

Enlisting testimonials from the band members themselves along with producer Bob Marlette, the documentary is an honest recount of the unlikely road to stardom. Saliva's Wayne Swinny shared, “We felt like it would be cool to give the fans a little peek behind the curtain of the history of Saliva, so to speak. We are stoked that Bob Marlette was willing to be a part of the bio as well, he is the ‘Jedi Master’ of Saliva world.”

The band's Paul Crosby added, “Twenty years is a long time ago but I still remember it like it was yesterday. Making this documentary brought back memories of some really magical times.” Saliva's vocalist Bobby Amaru added his take on the retrospective, “My decade in the band has been a great chapter in my life. This documentary was something we wanted to do for the fans to have an inside look because without them, SALIVA doesn’t exist. The “Every Six Seconds” record has carried this band for 20 years and more. That’s special!”

Saliva's 6-track Every 20 Years EP is slated for release on May 7 via Megaforce Records. Preorder the EP - HERE. The first single from the six-song EP, “Your Disease,” is currently available via preferred DSP - HERE.
