Emerging alt metal outfit Prodigal has announced their pending EP, The Floating World, due out October 2nd via Deep Love Recordings/In Bloom/Nu Metal Agenda Worldwide. The announcement follows the band's recent strides with the reveal of the meteroic single, "The Door" which landed earlier this summer to instant acclaim.
Coupled with the news of the band's forthcoming five-track release, Prodigal have shared the next preview with the corrosive new single, "Pulling Apart". Shifting from melodic malaise to hulking hostility, the single showcases the band's assaultive brand of art complete with burly guitars, explosive percussion and a cathartic showing from vocalist Stan Kayley.
A testament to the band's DIY, hands on approach, most of The Floating World was recorded by the band in their home studio setting in Stroud, UK. Completing the project's finishing touches, the presentation speak to the potential of the emerging force and the proof is in the enthusiastic reception thus far.
