The overlords of Viking metal in Amon Amarth have unveiled plans to begin a comprehensive siege of European territories for their Allfather Awakens 2026 tour. The news lands following the band horde's triumphant run supporting the mighty Slayer for select UK dates along with the band's successful run on North America, supporting Pantera.
The announcement of the tour also ratchets up the momentum of the band following their summer release of new music, the band's first offering since 2022's lauded LP, The Great Heathen Army. The anthemic "We Rule the Waves" surfaced as the metallic song of the summer, becoming an instant favorite among fans and reiterating the band's ability to lead the charge with crushing command.
The Allfather Awakens tour will cover the UK and mainland Europe, beginning October 9th in Manchester, England and draws to a dramatic close with a finale in Lisbon, Portugal on November 15th. Set to join Amon Amarth on the lengthy siege of the region, melodic death metal phenom Orbit Culture have been confirmed along with the stalwarts of the Swedish sound in Soilwork.
The confirmation of the Allfather Awakens 2026 tour also includes news of a updated stage production and an extended headlining set from Amon Amarth. In addition, the band have confirmed that the latter half of 2026 will bring with it a new album from the masters of Nordic heft.
