Unleashing the third cut from their pending eighth LP, Aftermath, Spanish thrash stalwarts Angelus Apatrida have added to the arsenal that first featured the mighty singles in "To Whom It May Concern" and "Cold".
The latest molotov touts some metallic hardcore firepower in the form of legendary voice, Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed for the fiery track, "Snob".
Angelus Apatrida frontman/guitarist Guillermo Izquierdo shared his enthusiasm in having such a respected name on such a banger of single. "No doubt this is another highlight from ’Aftermath,’ pure and raw violence with this neck-breaking tune called “Snob." Together with the one and only Jamey Jasta from hardcore legends Hatebreed, we’ve been able to deliver an aggressive song full of message, with a bunch of fast and insane riffs and drums, colored with tons of groove and plenty of old school vibes!
The lyric video has been done by our longtime friend and artist Josep Caballero from RCV Visual Studio. Grab a beer and your old skateboard and enjoy this future classic!"
Aftermath serves as the band's eighth full length effort and follows the success of their 2021 self-titled masterclass that landed at #1 on the Spanish album charts and notched impressive numbers internationally.
The album features the likes of guitarist Pablo García (Warcry), singer Todd La Torre (Queensrÿche) and rapper Sho-Hai - speaking to the broad reach of the band and their sense of versatility. The self=produced project was aided by the final mix and mastering of the legendary Zeuss whose work includes essential releases from the likes of Rob Zombie, Overkill, Hatebreed, Municipal Waste, Shadows Fall and more.
Following the October 20th release of Aftermath, Angelus Apatrida will head out for a European run of live dates supporting legends Death Angel and Sacred Reich. A complete list of live dates can be found - HERE
