Swedish titans Arch Enemy have launched a sneak attack with the unveiling of a brand new single - with no fanfare and build up. The unexpected drop of the gargantuan single, "Dream Stealer" marks the band's first showing of new music since the 2022 release of their well-received, widely-acclaimed Deceivers LP.
Working with Jens Bogren and Tony Lindgren, "Dream Stealer" frames the inimitable songwriting prowess of Michael Amott. Paired with the vocal command of Alissa White-Gluz, the track towers as a prime example of Swedish extreme music mastery.
Speaking of the timelessness of the single, Michael Amott said, “First new Arch Enemy song we release in a little while and it feels good to be back! It was a blast working on ‘Dream Stealer’ in the studio, this song just has the high energy and twisted atmosphere that makes it so fun to play! Crank it up, loud and heavy! Metal is immortal!”
The arrival of "Dream Stealer" and the epic accompanying video directed by Patric Ullaeus ushers in the next era of Arch Enemy and precedes their highly-anticipated Rising From The North co-headlining tour set for later this year. Performing opposite of melodic metal legends In Flames with support from Soilwork, the run is among the most best assembled, most complimentary bills in metal.
The run kicks of October 3rd in Glasgow and concludes with a November 5th play in Helsinki. From there, Arch Enemy will trek to Mexico for a month long trek that begins November 12th in Toluca and wraps in Mexico City on December 11th.
