Among heavy music's most innovative forces, Babymetal have teamed with Electric Callboy for a collaboration that seemed destined. Sourcing elements of pop, dance, metal, the meld of the bands' stylistic signatures come together in colossal fashion for the joint single, "RATATATA".

The fusion of anthemic choruses, powerful song dynamics and the hyper-energetic pulse that works well with both bands makes for a single that is as infectious as it is innovative.

Speaking on the opportunity to bring together such two visionary entities, Electric Callboy understood the potential in teaming with Babymetal and were eager to begin the project. "Working with BABYMETAL was so much fun. We joined our creative forces and, in the end, we brought together the best of both worlds. We love 'RATATATA'!"

Babymetal also offered their praise of the final product, summarizing the project as, "Unbeatable! Let's 'Fu Fu' together with RATATATA."

The track arrives as both bands continue productive touring schedules in support of their own acclaimed album releases. For Eclectic Callboy, the band continues their upward trajectory in the thick of their Tekkno cycle. The band recently completed a sold out North American run and is due to spend the next few months performing at several international festivals.

Electric Callboy was recently featured on the original Knotfest.com series, Beyond the Breakdown which documents the scope of their incendiary live show. Check the preview below and dive into the full episode - HERE

As for Babymetal, the Japanese powerhouse continues their run on the strength of last year's The Other One concept album release. Completing important tours with the likes of Dethklok, in addition to dropping collaborations with the likes of Tom Morello, Lil Uzi Vert and Bring Me the Horizon, Babymetal is now set host their own festival this weekend with Fox_Fest. The event will take place at Saitama Super Arena in Japan and will feature sets from Babymetal, Electric Callboy and Polyphia to include the top few.

In addition, Babymetal will then embark on a trek of Europe for a series of festival appearances. The band is due onstage at Download in the UK, Rock Im Park/Am Ring in Germany, Graspop in Belgium, Resurrection Fest in Spain and more. See tour dates for both bands below.
