Black Veil Brides Team with Machine Head for "Revenger"

Black Veil Brides Team with Machine Head for "Revenger"

- By Ramon Gonzales -->

The band begins their North American trek this week in support of their Spinefarm debut, VINDICATE, arriving next month.

With the arrival of the band's seventh full length, VINDICATE just two weeks away, Black Veil Brides have shared another powerful preview from the presentation.

This time enlisting the mighty Robb Flynn of Machine Head for some additional brawn, the track underscores the heft of Black Veil Brides in their modern era, fusing colossal hooks, competent songwriting and the live explosiveness, "Revenger" is destined to quickly become a fan favorite.

BVB mastermind Andy Biersack explained his perspective in penning the track and how the song has since become especially important to him.

"I have always been interested in the sort of ethical dilemma that we have culturally of cheering for justice. I thought it would be an interesting exercise to write lyrics from the perspective of someone who is trying to seek out the ultimate form of justice.

Because I was writing from someone else's voice, this felt like the kind of song that would be best served by having someone else's voice on the song. So, we brought in Robb Flynn of Machine Head. The reason he came to mind first was of course his voice, tonality and style I thought was perfect for this. He is also someone who was one of the first real defenders of Black Veil Brides. In the early days when we were getting absolutely shit on by every other metal band, Robb Flynn and Machine Head stood up for us and said positive things about us and has maintained that for years and years.

I think it's one of my favorite songs on the record.”

Riding out in support of the band's newest full length, Black Veil Brides begin their 2026 touring campaign April 25th with an extensive North American run. The tour is supported by From Ashes to New, TX2 and As December Falls, starting out in Southern California Southern California and closing out May 30th in Worcester, MA with a finale at the Palladium. The tour will also include a pair of festival appearances with Black Veil Brides making stops at both Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple this spring.
