Incendiary black metal force BLACKBRAID has announced a new EP, Nocturnal Womb, which will arrive as an independent release on March 6th. The EP collects tracks that were considered too dark, too destructive to work within the narrative of the BLACKBRAID album trilogy that saw the release of the third installment just last year.
The title track of the EP along with the latest entry, "Celestial Bloodlust" showcases BLACKBRAID at its most visceral, unleashing an all out blitz of black metal fury, captured by an electrifying new performance video helmed by Moshmallows - featuring Blackbraid commanding chaos assert their muscle in the flesh.
In addition to the pair of explosive tracks, the Nocturnal Womb EP also features acoustic an acoustic instrumental rendition of “Barefoot Ghost Dance on Blood Soaked Soil," revisiting the epic track dating back to BLACKBRAID I.
The Nocturnal Womb EP will be release in both physical and digital formats starting March 6th. The release lands as BLACKBRAID prepares for a UK and Ireland headlining run from next month.
