Set to begin the last stretch of their Shrine cycle, groove metal stalwarts Bleed From Within are prepping to embark on a crucial touring stretch to punctuate what has been a formative last couple of years.
Back in 2022, the band dropped the universally acclaimed Nuclear Blast LP release, Shrine - an album that earned critical praise and further solidified their teflon reputation as one of the genre's best among the fans. In the months since, the band has delivered not only a deluxe edition of the seminal release, but has further cultivated their base by consistently crushing on the road, maintaining a healthy touring slate in support of the release.
Due to begin a busy 2024, the band's live itinerary kicks off later this month with a supporting run for The Ghost Inside along with special guests, Paleface Swiss and Great American Ghost. Additionally, Bleed From Within are due to make their Hellfest debut this festival season, as well as confirmed slots at Milwaukee Metal Fest, Download Festival and Graspop plus select one-off European dates with Shadow Of Intent, The Acacia Strain and Fuming Mouth.
All this plus, the band has been confirmed as the support for the upcoming 25th anniversary EU/UK tour for Iowan juggernauts, Slipknot. The Here Comes the Pain Tour will close out the year, kicking off in December and culminating with two consecutive nights at London's O2 Arena.
Ahead of what will no doubt be an important year for the band, Bleed From Within have released a new visual for the track, "Killing Time" which was first featured on their 2022 LP, Shrine. The clip serves well in highlighting the band's relentless live show by showcasing some of the highlights from their recent slate of live dates - documenting the wild exchange between the fans and the stage.
Alic Richardson of Bleed From Within offered the following, "As we approach the end of the Shrine cycle, we've been looking back at everything that we've achieved with this release. It has been a truly amazing couple of years, taking us thousands of miles around the world. The perfect setup to the next chapter of our band. The lyrics for Killing Time are personal, but I hope that the clear message about making the most of the time we have left will resonate with those reading them."
RIchardson continued, "The song always stood out to us and our fans, so it has been great to give it a place in our live set and celebrate it with this video. Shot and edited by our close friend and long-time videographer/photographer Tom Armstrong, we hope you enjoy this montage as much as we do. A true celebration of the band's journey over the last couple of years!"
