Following last year's successful debut, Bloodstock organizers have announced the 2026 return of their Winter Gathering. As the force driving the UK's premiere outdoor metal music festival, the team is bringing the madness indoors for a holiday celebration that touts the same spirit and a seriously stacked line-up for the second installment.
Holding court at KK’s Steelmill, Wolverhampton, on December 6th, Bloodstock Winter Gathering will feature a headlining set from Greek extreme metal legends, Rotting Christ. Also confirmed for the Winter Gathering, Ukrainian blackened death metal powerhouse, 1914 along with a set from UK thrash sensation, Pest Control. Party Cannon have been added to the line-up as well as Red Rum, Witchsorrow and Square Wild.
Winter Gathering also boasts a second stage with another UK thrash pillar in Sharpnel taking the lead. Death/doom specialists, The Crawling have been confirmed along with Moon Reaper and Head Dent. In addition, the second stage at Winter Gathering will feature a Q & A with the Bloodstock Festival Management team, giving fans a chance to engage with the organizers and get some insight direct from the source.
Bloodstock and Winter Gathering co-director Vicky Hungerford shared, “Last year’s Winter Gathering was honestly such a blast — it reminded us exactly why Bloodstock began as an indoor event in the first place. The atmosphere was so intimate and felt just like those early days. We’ve got loads of fun things planned for 2026 and we’d love to see as many of you there as possible. It’s basically our Bloodstock Christmas party!”
