Showing a flair for the dramatics, Bring Me the Horizon have confirmed that the long-awaited follow up to 2020 lauded Post Human: Survival Horror will end as the clock strikes midnight on May 24th.
The second installment in the POST HUMAN series, NeX GEn follows a succession of collaborative singles including cuts with Lil Uzi Vert, Corpse, Ed Sheeran, YUNGBLUD and Tom Morello in the time since. The confirmation follows last month's initial tease that saw Bring Me the Horizon clear their social media slate to make way for the next cycle - one that began with an ominous teaser video.
Late last year, the band announced their amicable split with longtime keyboardist and collaborator Jordan FIsh. Turning the corner in 2024, the band would release their first showing of music without Fish earlier this year with the arrival of "Kool-Aid".
As for the rollout of POST HUMAN: NeX GEn, the band paired the announcement of the May 24th Midnight release with the reveal of a new teaser video. Featuring a heavy sci-fi aesthetic along with noticeably heavy guitars as the a digital voice signals, "Let's Begin" - the hype is currently hitting its peak in the quick lead up to album's drop.
