The OGs of Narco grind will set out on a fall run in support of their September release, ‘Esto Es Brujeria’.
Last month, pioneering Mexican grind metal veterans Brujeria announced the September 15th arrival date of their fifth album, Esto Es Brujeria. Appropriately dropping on just prior to Mexican Independence Day, the album marks the band’s first full length effort since 2016’s Pocho Aztlan and follows their recent 30th anniversary celebration of their seismic 1993 debut, Matando Gueros.
Arriving with the confirmation of the new album, Brujeria also delivered the pummeling first preview from the new album with the single, “Mochado”. Led by Juan Brujo’s menacing vocal presence, legendary deathgrind unit flexed their muscle, reasserting their rank as the OGs of the subgenre.
Adding to the excitement of the new album and what has been already called a return to form, Brujeria has announced the ‘Esto Es Tour 2023’ – crossing the U.S. in support of the new album. Brujeria will be joined by Tejas punks Piñata Protest and noise grind specialists No/Mas for the 29-date run that kicks off at the beginning of November and extends into December.
