Skateboarding institution Thrasher Magazine has announced their annual showdown in the California desert with the reveal of their 2026 Thrasher Death Match. The yearly event bridges live performances with a full day of skateboarding, including a mini ramp set-up and their ominously dubbed, Widowmaker.
For 2026, the Death Match will again takeover the smaller western outpost of Pioneertown, CA at Pappy & Harriett's. Headlining the event, punk icons Circle Jerks will lead a generational roster of hardcore along with Melvins, Pain of Truth, Necrot, Upchuck, XCOMM, Hot Load and Purest Form.
Along with two stages of live music throughout the day, the Death Match will will feature an invite-only skateboarding contest on the Thrasher ramp. Additionally, Death Match will include special guest DJ sets from the likes of The Blackouts, Nuge and Lee Spielman of Trash Talk.
