Having shared a succession of singles in "She Reigns Down," "Shadow Dance," "Blackberries" and "Hourglass", Cold Cave have confirmed what many had hope - a new album is en route. Passion Depression is set for an October 15th release date and will include the previously released singles in addition to four more new tracks of frigid synth and dazzling darkwave.  

If the singles thus far are indication, Cold Cave have again asserted a mastery of synthpop with the kind of musical throb that haunting and hypnotic. A combination of eerie, atmospheric synth with frosty, brooding vocals all set to an infectious backbeat make for a presentation that taps into the sinister as well as the seductive. 

Functioning as a 100% DIY project, Wesley Eisold along with partner Amy Lee have tended to every detail of their latest offering - from the artwork to the production - from concept to execution. Passion Depression will also be released  in limited colorway vinyl featuring Rainbow Ice vinyl with a hologram Sleeve or Glitter vinyl. Quantities are limited and expected to go quick. 

Cold Cave will be trekking in support of Passion Depression with a series of live dates both domestic and international. Their run will conclude with an appearance at Substance Festival in Los Angeles this November. See the complete list of dates and cities below.
