The brothers Shawn and Mark Stern of Youth Brigade have reconvened as the pioneering pair at the helm of Punk Rock Bowling, which is set to celebrate it's 25th edition in 2025. To mark the landmark occasion, the organizers have compiled one of the most diverse line-ups in recent history, complete with festival firsts and important finales.
At the very top of the billing, Peter Hook & the Light are set to perform their special Joy Division set - leaning into the post punk roots of the community that frequents the fest. Night two will be headlined by Social Distortion - marking the band's first ever appearance at the festival.
Completing the milestone event, UK Oi! icons Cock Sparrer will celebrate their final ever Punk Rock Bowling appearance, as the band closes out their historic run that spans since 1972. Among the additional highlights from the 25th PRB include wild cards like the champs of Texas crossover in Power Trip earning prominent billing. Amigo the Devil will also join the festivities along with hardcore pushers Angel Dust also shaking up the run of show.
While the satellite club shows have yet to be announced, the festival roster does a great job of balancing legends and emerging artists. FLAG, The Damned, The Adicts, The Bouncing Souls and Gang of Four are paired with bands like Spiritual Cramp, Codefendants, Surfbort and No Bro. Standouts like The Interrupters, FIDLAR and Frank Turner also serve well in anchoring the eclectic, yet balanced bill.
