Veteran collective Comeback Kid has been a consistent contributor in the space of hardcore and punk for some two decades. Recently aligning with a new ally in SharpTone Records, the band has now announced their new era with the March 15th arrival of their latest EP, Trouble.
The self-produced four-track effort along with John Paul Peters and a final mix and master from Will Putney turns a new creative corner for band - one still rife with aggression and while daring to incorporate melody throughout.
Previewing the beginning of their newly forged partnership with SharpTone, the band have revealed the lead single from the pending EP with "Trouble In the Winner's Circle". Complete with gang vocals, charged riffs and one hell of a catchy chorus, Comeback Kid assert their ability in making an anthem with aggression.
Frontman Andrew Neufled explains the theme of the track."‘Trouble In The Winner's Circle’ is about public meltdowns. Having the world crashing down on you on display for the masses to see like peering into a fishbowl. It's a tongue and cheek rock anthem driving its point to the bitter end."
Showing their commitment to the road, Comeback Kid have issued the latest announcements while out on tour in the UK. Currently trekking in UK/EU tour the band is sharing stages with The Amity Affliction, Alpha Wolf, and Mugshot. Additionally, Comeback Kid just announced a 2024 Latin America tour, to coincide with the release of the EP. Check the complete list of dates and cities below.
