In line with the top-tier cinematic quality of previously released singles including "Cry to Heaven" and "Teenage Sacrifice", UK powerhouse Creeper have unveiled their most audacious effort yet with a gargantuan 9-minute epic for "Further Than Forever".
The goth-inspired rock opera condensed down into a music video takes cues from the great Jim Steinman and frames the narrative that anchors Creeper's Sanguivore LP. The clip introduces the album's protagonists in the sweet, albeit sinister vampire Mercy, and the ever-adoring Spook.
Equal parts horror film and classic tale of cursed romance, the visual flashes back to the moment Spook was first fixed with Mercy and the subsequent snapshots of their tragic, terrifying future together.
Creeper's William Von Gould explained, “The music video for ‘Further Than Forever’ is an ambitious 9 minute epic made by Billy H Price and Jacek Zmarz. The film dives back into the world of Sanguivore, introduces the character of Spook and tells the story of his relationship across oceans of time with Mercy.“
For the project, Creeper reconnected with directors Billy Howard Price and Jacek Zmarz, the same directorial duo behind the incendiary "Teenage Sacrifice" clip.
The latest offering precedes Creeper's pending headlining run next month on The Sacred Blasphemy Tour. Along with the Save Face and The Nightmares, Creeper will head a weeklong stretch that will conclude in London with a set at 02 Shepherd’s Bush Empire. A list of dates can be found below.
