The creative force of Deftones' frontman Chino Moreno and multi-instrumentalist Shaun Lopez have at long last dropped their first full length studio album in nine years with the arrival of Goodnight, God Bless, I Love U, Delete.
Propelled by the success of previewing singles in "Invisible Hand", "Light As A Feather" and "Ghost Ride" the 15-track presentation has steadily become one of the most hyped deliveries on the year.
Adding to the excitement of an album that touts special guest features from the likes of EL-P of Run the Jewels and the inimitable Robert Smith of The Cure, Crosses also announced a succession of special engagements in Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco surrounding their appearance at Darker Waves Festival in Southern California this November.
The shows all instantly sold out, suggesting the appetite was at an all time high - reactivated by the band's 2022 EP, PERMANENT.RADIANT late last year.
Now the band are diving fully into the album release cycle with the news that Crosses will be hitting the road on the Familiar World Tour set to commence February of 2024 and extend for 24 dates throughout North America.
Speaking auspiciously about the kind of tone that album set from the get go, Moreno reflected, “When we started working on Goodnight, God Bless, I Love U, Delete., there was so much more light coming in my life, for numerous reasons,” said Moreno. “There’s a lot more optimism. Even the darker themes are more romanticized and not coming from a place of despair.”
