First kicking down the door as a creative duo in 2020 with their joint effort, UNLOCKED, Denzel Curry and producer Kenneth Blume have reconvened for their second collaboration effort, ii.

The project is due out August 21st via Loma Vista Recordings and was constructed humbly using only a Roland SP-404 beat machine and a cheap microphone. The album touts a focused list of guest contributors with JPEGMAFIA and Westside Gunn making appearances. 

Introducing the new album, Yebba guests alongside Denzel's fluid delivery on the initial serving, "Difference". Pairing Blume's stealth production and Curry's unmatched bars, the single reiterates the tandem's effectiveness as joint force. 

Blume shared of the project, “The work Denzel and I do has never been easy, which is why it’s so rewarding. We’ve started every project on opposite sides of a coin and fought our way to the center. When I hear this album I hear the growth and the fight in equal parts.”

The announcement lands as Curry prepares to head out on the Hive Mind tour supporting Knocked Loose along with support from Superheaven and Boundaries.
