Metallic hardcore pillars Hatebreed have announced their first new full length studio album in six years, Fatal Paradox. The announcement follows last month's unveiling of Hatebreed's signing to BLKIIBLK.
Teaming with longtime collaborator and venerated producer Zeuss, the album serves as the first reveal of new music since 2020's Weight of the False Self and the band's full length debut on their new label.
To begin the charge towards the November 6th release, Hatebreed have issued a blazing lead single with "Kill Count Increase". A hard-hitting showcase of hostility, the track asserts a metallic hardcore expertise that is signature Hatebreed, complete with Jamey Jasta's distinct call, the single is ushers in the modern era of the band in a big way.
"'Kill Count Increase' is the lead track on Fatal Paradox and a perfect way of summing up our first album in six years from the start," Jasta states. "It's straightforward, in-your-face Hatebreed. Fast. Hard. It gets down to business and comes up for air two-and-a-half minutes later. The room and everyone in it gets wrecked and comes back wanting more."
The band are currently closing out the first portion of the Summer Slaughter tour and are set to begin the second stretch next month. Along the way, Hatebreed will take on important one-offs, supporting the likes of Slayer, Turnstile and making appearances at both Gathering of the Juggalos and Furnace Fest in the coming weeks.
